Situated in the quiet village of Curdridge near Botley in Hampshire, Kitnocks House is home to 63 residents across 4 specialised communities; each designed to support residents with varying complex care and neurological needs, whilst providing them with a comfortable, safe home.
In addition to the Home Manager, we have two experienced Clinical Managers with oversight of our communities, supported by a team of nurses and health care assistants.

Facilities
Kitnocks House is divided into four separate communities, each with a dedicated team of experienced nurses and health care assistants, all managed by our two Clinical Managers and the Home Manager.
Recognising that some residents benefit from single-sex settings, Kitnocks House offers both male-only and female-only communities. We also have very small communities for those residents who benefit from smaller, quieter settings where they can develop a closer bond with those caring for them.
Across all our services, our high staff to resident ratio ensures that the most complex of needs are readily met.
Following assessment, our residents are allocated rooms in the community setting that will best suit their care needs and overall wellbeing.
Our home has lovely garden spaces allowing residents to spend time outside with the staff or with their visitors. Where residents wish to do so, they can get involved with caring for the garden.
We encourage residents to personalise and decorate their bedroom, which are spacious and all with ensuite facilities.
Kitnocks House also has comfortable living areas, such as our garden room, for residents to spend time communally as they wish, in addition to quieter spaces to meet with visitors or to have reflection or quiet time.
Activities
Every day brings a new opportunity to create meaningful experiences. We design our activities with care - intended to inspire, engage, and foster genuine connections among our residents.
Working closely with Nordoff and Robbins, the UK's largest music therapy charity with over 60 years of experience, we bring the transformative power of music into our community. Bespoke sessions allow residents to enjoy music's calming and uplifting effects, nurturing emotional expression and creating warm, heartfelt interactions.
We are equally proud of our close ties with the National Activity Providers Association, which underline our commitment to a life filled with purpose and joy. In partnership with them, we craft stimulating programmes that blend creativity with compassionate care, ensuring that every moment matters.
Each resident is seen, valued, and encouraged to engage fully with life. Our approach is about celebrating small victories and building an environment where genuine connections can flourish daily.

Our reception is staffed from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm.
Family and friends may telephone us at any time, day or night, to enquire about residents’ wellbeing.
When visiting, on arrival, please ring the doorbell. If no-one is at the reception desk, or it is outside of office hours, one of the team will meet you at the door. Please be patient if you do not get an immediate response, as it is likely staff are busy with residents.
